My Hearing Level is considered Mild-Severe Hearing loss

I know that I don't look that way, but it's hard for me to hear all the sound around me. Sound localization and hearing comprehension especially in noisy environments become challenging for me.  Please know I am really good at pretending I am listening to you.  I'd listen to you much better if you could talk to me face to face.  Talking to me from the distance...may not be a good idea, especially if the message is important for me to understand.
